Outlast follows survivalists in the Alaskan wilderness as they compete to outlast and outwit each other to win a million dollars. Where most competitions run for weeks, Outlast runs indefinitely until only two teams remain, and they compete in a hike to victory.
What was meant to be a competition of survival skills turned into cruel acts of sabotage when a team stole and destroyed competing teams’ tools and materials. It might have been one of reality TV’s most intense standoffs, but it brought so much bad publicity to the show as the act of sabotage could’ve cost the lives of fellow contestants. Controversy isn’t stopping Netflix from a second season, though, and here’s hoping it has a far stricter definition of what constitutes survival skills.

Set in the glamorous city of Los Angeles, where the rich and famous mingle, selling real estate can be a fabulous gig. However, with affluence and fame comes a cutthroat property industry where agents fight over clients and properties. Who knew selling houses would come with so much drama?
The Circle

Contestants move into an apartment block and are kept isolated from each other and the outside world. Their only form of communication is through an app that’s basically a dating profile. They’re free to be themselves or portray themselves as someone entirely different, all to score the highest rating among the group and be safe from elimination. “Gaslight, gatekeep, girlboss” is out, “flirt, befriend, catfish” is in.
Sister Wives

Survivor

Survivor’s back for its 47th season! Once again taking place on the Mamanuca Islands in Fiji, 18 castaways find themselves “stranded” on the island and try to survive while taking part in challenging tasks. As of writing, the full cast has yet to be announced but comedian Jon Lovett has been confirmed to be a part of the upcoming season. As expected, Jeff Probst returns as the host of the show.
